I imagine the emotion the model feels. I remember a scenario from my life that gave me a similar emotion and I paint that.

I paint the models looking out at you, looking into your eyes. I want you to feel a personal connection. This is another human being with a beating heart and a soul. What is this person about to say to you? 

Take in this emotion, feel this feeling and wonder, “Why? What in your life caused this emotion?” If the memories are positive, Great! Embrace the feelings. If the memories are negative, please confront them. I want my art to bring you a greater understanding of your life and I hope this examination will bring you some peace.
